Give It A Try Class: Wheel Throwing

Give it a Try Classes are a one-time 2 hour session and is exactly what it says! Students will get a quick introduction to wheel throwing including basic techniques such wedging and centering… then you give it a try.

A great opportunity to see if you like what you’re getting into before committing to a full class series. The goal of this class is not to necessarily throw a form to completion, but instead learn and experience a taste of what it takes to throw on the pottery wheel. You will receive help on how to form a bowl or mug IF you choose to try it!

Afterwards, any forms that get completed will be trimmed IF able and fired for you to pick up later.

 

NOTE: you can choose to have it glazed (one color you get to pick at the end of class) for an additional fee of $25.
